The trendy new 4W-240V ALE2 LED is the latest offering from AuzLED’s
development team, designed to replace the popular R80 mirror backed
globe that had been utilised for decades in old and new style 100-mm
(4-inch) down light and assorted fittings. The ALE2 was specially designed
to eradicate the heat generating and power consuming R80 globe plus
the 28-Watt florescent type lamp and ballast. With a lifespan of up to
50,000 hours or 17 years based on eight-hour days replacement globe
and maintenance expenses are reduced significantly.
The 4W-240V ALE2 LED has passed the EMC test (no RF interference)
and comply with all Australian standards allowing them to be installed in
hospitals, medial centres and office buildings equipped with electronic
equipment.
The 4W-240V ALE2 LED does not have a heat-generating transformer as it
runs at a cool temperature thereby reducing air conditioning costs and the
need for heat resistant covers. An added bonus is that they are shatterproof
and shock resistant and don’t contain any hazardous mercury that makes
them safer to handle and install.
The 4W-240V ALE2 LED provides a cost-effective form of down lighting
that is a money saving alternative to expensive low voltage halogen or
florescent globe and ballast lighting costs each month.
